Mission
The mission of Henry L. Sneed Middle School's library is to encourage students to appreciate literature, think critically and become effective users of technology.
Objective
To achieve our mission, a variety of books and other resources are available to support the school's curriculum and foster collaborative instruction. We encourage students, teachers, and parents to access the links on our webpage for additional information on books and research.
Checking Out Books
Students with a pass from a teacher may visit the library from 8:00 am until 3:30 pm to check out books. Students must have their identification card to check out books. Students can check out two books at a time. Students can keep their library books for two weeks. An overdue library notice will be issued to students if books are not returned after two weeks.
Chromebooks and Chargers
Students are able to report daily technological concerns to their teachers during each class period. Afterwards, teachers record the technological issues of students on the schoolwide Live Doc Technology Form. Students are requested to report to the library at the availability of the librarian or library assistant for troubleshooting.
